Scientific Research and Development (R&D) 1,000 Employee Business Size Standard - This Pool comprises efforts primarily engaged in conducting research and experimental development in the physical, engineering, and life sciences, such as agriculture, electronics, environmental, biology, botany, computers, chemistry, food, fisheries, forests, geology, health, mathematics, medicine, oceanography, pharmacy, physics, veterinary, and other allied subjects. For example, this scope covers R&D in the Sciences services. Awardees consist of only 8(a) small businesses. All orders issued under OASIS 8(a) are automatically considered set-aside for 8(a) Program Participants as only 8(a) Program Participants were awarded an OASIS 8(a) contract.
